Online quotations generated via our website or quoting portal are based on the property particulars provided by you (including approximate market value, property type, age, and extension history). Prior to undertaking any RICS Level 2 Home Survey, RICS Level 3 Building Survey, or RICS Valuation, we will provide formal RICS-compliant Terms of Engagement detailing the exact scope of inspection, limitations, and fixed fee, which must be confirmed before the inspection proceeds.
3. Scope of RICS Surveys & Valuations
- RICS Home Survey — Level 2: A surface-level visual inspection designed for conventional residential properties in reasonable condition, identifying notable defects, dampness, and urgent repairs.
- RICS Home Survey — Level 3 (Building Survey): A comprehensive structural and fabric inspection suited to older, period, extended, or significantly altered properties, offering in-depth defect analysis and remedial guidance.
- RICS Red Book Valuations: Independent market valuations carried out by an RICS Registered Valuer in accordance with the RICS Valuation – Global Standards.
4. Confidentiality & Intellectual Property
All survey reports, photographs, and valuation documents prepared by I AM Surveyors are provided solely for the named client's confidential use for the stated purpose. Reports may not be reproduced, published, or relied upon by third parties without our prior written consent.
